Hailing from the Starr/Iva area of South Carolina, Emily first spent time in Greenwood while attending Lander University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Management and Marketing. After college, Emily worked in the banking industry for a number of years before joining the Stoddard Funderburk team at the beginning of 2021. Emily now acts as the jack of all trades for the practice, serving as Office Manager, Senior Transaction Specialist, and Title Insurance specialist – just to name a few.  She is married to Zach Payton, and they are expecting their first child, Sarah Ann, in February 2024.
